Multilevel maps for Beyond All Reason

Terraces. Several levels of flat ground stacked up the map, with ramps between them.

Multilevel builds the map out of flat terraces at different heights. Every step between two levels is a cliff somewhere and a ramp somewhere else, so the fight flows along the ramps while artillery fires over the edges.

It plays faster than it looks: the levels are open, so vehicles rule within a terrace, and the battle is about which ramps you hold.

Made for: 8×8 to 32×32, up to 16 players. Every map is mirrored, so both sides get the same ground and the same metal.

How it plays

What to build on a multilevel map

Ground

Ramps between terraces are the chokes; each level is tank country.

Air and sea

Air and long-range artillery cross the cliffs that armies cannot.

Economy

Metal on every level; the middle terraces are the contested ones.
