Setonish maps for Beyond All Reason

Two land halves and a strait between them, in the spirit of Seton’s Clutch. Navy in the middle.

Setonish is a two-team layout in the spirit of the classic Seton’s Clutch: each team on its own half of the land, a strait of open water between them, and a land link at one end that becomes the ground front.

The team that wins the strait gets to shell the other’s back line; the team that wins the land front gets to walk in. Good teams do both.

Made for: 16×16 to 32×32, 2 teams. Every map is mirrored, so both sides get the same ground and the same metal.

How it plays

What to build on a setonish map

Ground

One land front at the end of the strait; the rest of the coast is naval.

Air and sea

A navy map. Ships and hovers in the strait, air to spot and to kill the ships.

Economy

Each half carries a team’s economy; the strait is the reclaim.

Straight out of the generator

2 setonish maps, untouched

From the gallery: one press of Generate map each, nothing edited. The name under a map rebuilds it.

Generate one

Offline, against the AI

Open Eclipse, press Create, choose Against AI, offline, pick SETONISH as the style and a size. Eclipse generates the map and starts Beyond All Reason on it.

In a room

Type !genmap 4v4 SETONISH (or 1v1, 2v2, 3v3) in the room chat. Everyone in the room gets the same map by name, nobody sends a file.
